The validator fetches your page and reports its card metadata. It does not guarantee an updated image on existing posts. To see the card preview itself, use X's post composer.
Still seeing the old image?
If you own the page, publish the updated image at a new URL
and update both twitter:image and og:image.
Make sure the page and image are publicly accessible to X's crawler,
including through your robots.txt and any bot protection.
Validate the page again, then check it in the post composer. A new image URL can help avoid reuse of the old image, but X controls its own caches; existing posts may still show the old card.
